1. What type of photo sessions do you offer?

I specialize in natural light Senior, Newborn, Family (posed and lifestyle/candid) and Child photography. I also love to shoot sports of all kinds. I do Real Estate work, and Pet sessions are becoming more popular!

2. Do you have a studio?

No I do not.

3. What is your style?

My style... good question... my images can have a bold look to them, when I'm shooting sports, men and male seniors or in the case of women, children and newborns a very soft and airy feel. My artistic style results in images that are always filled with gesture and emotion. Creating timeless images that aren't trendy or following the latest fad is very important to me. The best way to get a feeling for my photography is to look through the galleries on my website or visit my Facebook and Instagram pages.

4. How long is a typical session?

Most sessions generally last about an hour, while a newborn and senior sessions will take anywhere from 2-4 hours.

5. What should my family wear to our session?

Coordinating outfits work best! Long pants and longer sleeve shirts also look better than shorts and t-shirts. Most people are self-conscious of their arms/legs, so having them covered up will not only look better, but you will feel more comfortable, too. Avoid shirts with writing or graphics on them and stick to solid colors and small simple patterns. Wear shoes that are in good shape and coordinate with your clothing. Leave the running/tennis shoes at home. Babies that are not yet walking will be photographed in bare feet...who doesn't love baby toes! Avoid overly matchy-matchy outfits but rather coordinate them subtly by color family. I'm happy to help you pick just the right outfits, text me some photos! But remember first and foremost you need to be comfortable and feel like yourself!

6. How soon after our session will I be able to view the online gallery?

Within approximately 2 weeks of your session I will send you a link to your private online gallery. The gallery will stay open for one month giving you a chance to share the gallery with family & friends, and place any print orders. The exceptions to this would be custom composite work and photo montages that often require more time. Regardless, you will always know what to expect for a work timeline. If you like, included in your session fee is a View and Order Session where we can get together and I can assist you in placing an order and help you make decisions. Also we can discuss custom design work such as invitations or photo montages.

7. Do you sell digital images?

Yes I do. Please contact me about pricing and packages.

8. Do you sell prints and custom albums of my session?

Yes I do. I sell a wide variety of print products, canvases, metal prints, standouts etc. I also design beautiful books, and amazing albums of your session. I do creative design work and custom montages that incorporate several images.

9. Are my images always shared on social media, like your Facebook page and Website?

Typically I do a sneak peek on my Facebook page and Instagram within 1-2 days of our session and within a few months of our session I will blog a good amount of the photos on my website, however, your personal information is never shared. I use first names and vague terms like "this cutie pie" or "this adorable family" when mentioning you on either site. You are, of course, welcome to tag yourself on Facebook and share the blog post on your own personal sites.

10. Will I receive all of the pictures you took from our session?

No. While I may take anywhere from 200 to 400 images in a session, you will receive an image gallery with at least the minimum number of photos laid out in your session description. These photos will be in both color and black and white. The photos I choose are always the best reflection of you and of my own personal style and work. The final images I choose are edited for correct color balance, retouched and cropped to provide you with the best possible images.

11. Do you have a referral program?

Yes I do! For each booked and paid session referral you send my way, I offer a $50 credit towards your next session, and there is NO limit to how many of these you can rack up! Most of my business comes from word of mouth and referrals are GREATLY appreciated.

12. Do you travel?

Yes, any location within 30 miles of Glenwood City, WI is free of charge. Locations outside of that will be charged a small fee for my time etc.
